Lauren Kitchens has created a fabulous tool that is useful for so many applications. Use the tapered, single point end to etch texture and lines into rolled fondant, gum paste or modeling chocolate. Emboss deep lines, create a creased fabric effect, and vein flower petals and leaves with this tool. This end of the tool is also useful to clean up rough edges of edible pastes or remove excess pieces of edible pastes, eliminating fingerprints. Use the three-point end of the tool to texture rolled fondant, gum paste or modeling chocolate, creating a fabulous texture that emulates grass and fur. Roll the edible paste to approximately 1/8″ thickness. Hold the tool at a 45 degree angle and scratch back and forth on the soft paste to create texture.
